Roots to Wellness is a community-based wellness organization focused on improving mental, physical, and emotional well-being through culturally rooted practices, education, and access to healthy food systems. Our work integrates Kemetic yoga, mindfulness, community and school garden programs, and holistic education to support sustainable wellness for individuals and communities.
We prioritize Black and Indigenous communities while remaining inclusive of all people seeking restorative, preventative approaches to health. Through partnerships with schools, youth programs, gardeners, and community organizations, Roots to Wellness addresses wellness at its root—by reconnecting people to their bodies, their food, their culture, and the land.
Our programs create accessible pathways to healing, leadership development, and community resilience by combining movement, meditation, nature-based learning, and food justice initiatives.
